Parent Volunteer Request Form

The Queen of Peace High School Home School Association runs a variety of activities for our children throughout the year. The success of these activities depends on our parents who volunteer their time to ensure a safe and enjoyable event. We are requesting that each family volunteer for at least one of a variety of activities throughout the year. Complete this form to add your name to the HSA Volunteer List.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR AVAILABILITY FOR ANY NUMBER OF ACTIVITIES

School Dance Chaperones. There may be several dances throughout the school year. You will be called for your availability prior to the individual dance.

Hospitality Committee. Throughout the school year the Home School Association is asked to “host” several early evening or weekend events by serving light refreshments to guests. These usually include events that welcome our Queen of Peace High School parents and families to visit the school for various functions.

Annual Tricky Tray Event. The biggest and best fundraising event of the school year, the Tricky Tray requires many, many volunteers. Committees begin forming in September at the first Home School Meeting and work continues until the night of the big event in March. We welcome any and all help for this event. No matter how many or how few hours you can give, all help is welcome. Please check the QPHS website and mailings for upcoming details.

Senior Breakfast. Volunteers are needed to help organize the breakfast and seat graduating seniors and their parents. We ask that the parents who volunteer are those of freshmen, sophomore and junior students. This will allow the senior parents to attend and enjoy the breakfast with their children.

Graduation Ushers. Volunteers are needed the day of graduation to usher parents and guests to their seats.
