UNIQUE CONTRIBUTIONS BY ALUMNI Certainly the most extraordinary acts we ever perform are the common ones we do every day, the ordinary ones that we do with extraordinary regularity. Our vocation as a parent, a religious, a child, a priest, a teacher, etc. is where real credit is due. However, we thought it might be interesting and fun to share some stories of unique contributions of making the world better. We invite all of you in our Queen of Peace Community to nominate someone and tell us what he or she did that is so unique. These stories will be posted every week on our web site. Class of 1961 
The Class of '61 proposed reunion date is Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Belmar Fishing Club on Ocean Avenue in Belmar; the reunion will be
a BBQ and any interested alum should send their updated address and other
pertinent contact information including email address to QPHS and to Pat Staudt Wann. Just click the alumni update link on the right.

Class of 1967 
Queen of Peace Girl's High School Class of '67 is meeting on Facebook... a group was started in January... 22 members have joined in only a short time and we would love to have all 139 members with us... sign in... it's free... and look up groups... then "Queen of Peace Girl's High School Class of '67"... you will see a lot of familiar faces and hear how they are doing now... we have a board of old pictures and all of us have a current picture up... come and visit us... our 50th anniversary is only 8 years away... why wait till then to renew friendships?
Class of 1980 The QP Class of 1980 will be celebrating its 30 Year Reunion on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 8 pm to 12 am at The Landmark (www.landmarknj.com), 26 Route 17 South, East Rutherford, NJ 07073. 
The cost is $80/person which includes Cocktail Hour with Butlered Hors D'Oeuvres, Premium Open Bar, Hot & Cold Buffet with Carving and Pasta Stations, DJ and Dancing.

We have arranged for a photographer for the evening to take candid shots as we reminisce.

Class of 1981 The Class of 1981 is in the process of planning a 30th Reunion for 2011. Contacting classmates is much easier when we have up-to-date information. Please send your contact information to Barbara Matuszek at barbmarchitto@optonline.net or call 973-515-1147.

Class of 1986 A 25th Year Reunion is being planned for the Class of '86 in 2011. Please update your contact information on the QP Website Alumni Form. This will ensure that reunion invitations and information will be mailed to the correct addresses.
There are about 100 Classmates (Class of '86) currently on Facebook. A Queen
of Peace-Class of '86 Alumni Group has been formed and will continue to be
updated monthly on Facebook. If you would like to join this group, contact

Any suggestions where to hold the 25th year reunion would be greatly

Class of 1988  The Class of 1988 held their 20 year reunion on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Landmark in East Rutherford, N.J. Nearly 100 graduates attended and everyone had a great time. While the DJ played 80s music videos, graduates caught up with one another, posed for pictures, and shared a lot of laughs. Stay tuned! Our 25th reunion is just 5 years away! Class of 1999 The Class of 1999 held a reunion in October 2009. All 60 people in attendance had a great time! 
Saint Clare School Celebrating 50 Years in 2010! In preparation for the 50th Anniversary, the St. Clare Alumni Committee would like to locate all graduates. If you are a graduate of St. Clare School in Clifton, please forward your current contact information to alumni@saintclareschool.com. Please include your name, address, phone #, email address and graduation year.
Queen of Peace Athletic Hall of Fame  Use the link to the right to nominate someone to the Queen of Peace High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Once nominated, eligible persons become candidates for consideration by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee.
Eligible nominees to the Athletic Hall of Fame include players, coaches and candidates for honorary memberships. A player nominee must have waited a minimum of 10 years from their graduation from Queen of Peace High School.
Queen of Peace Alumni Association Keep up to date with all QP news and happenings by being an active member of the Alumni Association. It is essential we have your current contact information (name, address, e-mail, etc.) to keep in touch with you. In addition, we would like to update our records with your college, military and professional information. So many of our graduates have achieved great things and we would like to have this information to support our case for investing in a QP education.
