GRIFFIN FOR A DAY

We strongly suggest that prospective students take advantage of our "Griffin for a Day Program" to fully experience the QPHS environment. It is beneficial to see for yourself all that we have to offer. A school is not necessarily a match for all students. It is important that you want to be at QPHS, and that you believe it's the right place for you. Contact Mr. Gary Fanning, Admissions Director, at admissions@qphs.org or (201-998-8227 x 30) or contact Mr. Charles O'Sullivan, Assistant Principal (201-998-8227 x 15) to make an appointment. A visit can be scheduled with three days notice.

Program Guidelines

We are pleased to welcome you to our Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. We hope you will feel comfortable enough to be yourself! A student of the same gender will be your host for the day. They will meet you at the Main Office. You may request a specific student host if you know one!

Please download and fill out the parent/guardian permission form. This form also should be signed by your grammar school principal giving their approval for a student to attend our program.

The "Griffin for a Day Program" begins on September 15, 2008 and is for 7th and 8th grade students. The last date to visit for the school year is Friday, May 22, 2009. Also certain days of the school year may be excluded from students visiting.

Please report to the Main Office at 8:00 am.

Please dress neatly, conscious of the fact that our students are in uniform. If you attend a parochial school, you should wear your school uniform.

If you need an official note from QPHS for your school, please notify us of this the morning of your visit.

Our school day ends at 2:50 pm, and you will be dismissed at this time. You can be met at the Main Office or you may meet your ride at a designated place specified by your parent/guardian.

We hope you have an enjoyable day!

Parent/guardian: Remember to report your child's absence, if it is a regular school day for him/her.
