Attending the Junior or Senior Proms
It is mandatory for parents to attend a Pre-Prom Parent Meeting on March 12th, April 3rd or May 5th if your child expects to go to the Junior Semiformal and/or the Senior Prom.
This meeting will be run by the Bergen County Sheriff's Department. It will be an informative evening for all. Our program will begin promptly at 7:00 pm in the Queen of Peace High School Cafeteria. We are encouraging all parents to attend whether or not your child is going to the prom. Everyone is welcome; however, if you attended the meeting last year, it is not necessary to attend this year. These parents must sign the bottom portion of this page and have their child return it to his/her homeroom teacher no later than Friday, February 29, 2008.
Remember: One of the prerequisites for a child's attendance at the Junior Semiformal and/or the Senior Prom is the mandatory attendance of the parents at a Pre Prom Parent Meeting.
Since the Junior Semiformal is on Friday, April 11th, the parents of those attending the Junior Semiformal must attend either the March 12th or April 3rd meeting, if your obligation has not been met.
The parents of those students attending the Senior Prom which is on Friday, May 9th, may come to any of the 3 meetings (Wednesday, March 12, 2008; Thursday, April 3, 2008; Monday, May 5, 2008).
